SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students with disabilities or impairments. Collaborate with general education content teachers to develop lesson plans  that adhere to Virginia SOL guidelines for multiple classes of eleventh and twelth grade students. Maintain an active earning environment for students in the classroom and hallways. Schedule and lead IEP and Triennial meetings with students, parents, administration, teachers and counselors. Develop data sheets and gather data on each student in the caseload through classroom observations, communication with teachers, and various testing. Differentiate activities and goals to meet each students individual needs and abilities. Maintain academic and special education eligibility for each student in the caseload.

Manage all Social/Digital Media platforms ranging from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat. Provide fans with a unified and directed platform to engage with the Nicholls Athletics brand, as well as exploring new opportunities and avenues of engaging our fans while telling the story of Nicholls Athletics. Responsible for all graphic design projects and needs for Nicholls Athletics, including, game day graphics, post-game graphics, info graphics, athletic venue graphics, media guides, schedule posters, pocket schedule cards, media backdrops, season ticket books,  and splash pages for GeauxColonels.com. Managed all on-campus  student marketing, along with writing game day scripts, creating and implementing  game day promotional activities, all outbound email, phone, and social media messaging.

FAN EXPERIENCE AND PROMOTIONS INTERN - LIBERTY UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS

Completed 400 hours. Worked with the Athletics Marketing department in-office and in a variety of summer events both on campus and in the Lynchburg community. Assisted the Athletics Department with the planning and execution of our annual golf tournament and helping  prepare for the upcoming football, volleyball, soccer, and field hockey seasons. Weekly activities included in-office assistance, brainstorming new marketing ideas, and implementing new creative promotional campaigns for on campus activities. Assisted with Student Flames Club membership sales and a variety of other athletic events hosted by
Liberty University.
